Shepherds Corner, Where it's all personal

Shepherd's Corner is a tranquil Guest House established in Bryanston, Johannesburg. These spacious, tastefully-designed cottages provide a serene stay for business & leisure guests.

We are situated in close proximity to a variety of restaurants, gyms, Nicolway shopping mall, Sandton City, Sandton Mediclinic, MedFem, St. Stithians, and Bryanston Country Club.

We set ourself apart by creating private lifestyle-orientated cottages within a unique setting. The cottages and studios are individually designed with fully-equipped spaces.

Water Lily Studio

Framed by high, open-beam ceilings and a signature arched window, the space is filled with soft natural light that enhances its warm, earthy palette. Subtle textures, natural materials, and carefully selected finishes create an atmosphere that feels both grounded and refined.

Silver Birch is an exclusive, spacious garden cottage. Modern finishes. Private entrance. Private garden and terrace; leading to the main garden, and swimming pool.

Tree Tops is our smallest cottage. A light, peaceful balcony apartment with a private entrance. Fully equipped kitchen.

Copper Wood is a private, spacious ground floor unit, with industrial modern finishes. Treed garden, occupied by bird song and visiting guinea fowl.

A large, charming secluded garden cottage with direct private access off Shepherd Avenue. Dual level, with two upstairs bedrooms, one full bathroom including shower, and bath.

What an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us with an early check-in. We loved having our own private entrance and safe parking for two cars. The room and facilities were spotless, modern, and beautifully designed with everything we needed. The area is peaceful and tranquil — perfect for a relaxing getaway. And the breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious! Truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this gem of a guest house!

The host was first and foremost a wonderful person to deal with. He accommodated my late check in time on a short notice. During the stay we had a hot water issue but it was promptly sorted out the following day. He also picked up a water leak on our toilet and apologised but was unable to fix it as it would require pulling the toilet from the wall. But this did not effect our stay at all. The property is stunning. With a lovely garden and pond greeting you every morning. The room had everything we needed and we felt right at home. We were very comfortable. And made to feel very welcome.

My husband and I stayed at Shepherd's Corner for 5 weeks when we first moved to Joburg. We are so happy we found this place. It was really our apartment for the time we were there. Shiona, the owner, is lovely and very helpful. She and her family live in the main house and they have built 1-2 bedroom apartments onto their house. We stayed in Silver Birch. It was totally private and had a huge private outdoor space. But they we also had access to the fresh water pool and beautiful gardens. There was AC in the bedroom and the wifi worked great. I highly recommend staying here if you don't love the typical corporate apartments. You will feel right at home at Shepherd's Corner.

The minute I walked through the gate,it felt like I just walked into a fairytale, the Host: 10/10,she was helpful and so sweet and friendly and because I couldn't stay for breakfast she made sandwiches for me and left them in the fridge so I can have something before i leave🥺❤️I stayed in the Tree top cottage and my balcony was so beautiful and green,I enjoyed the little glimpse of sunrise and coffee. The garden is to die for,I would definitely recommend this guest house.

All i can say is WOW!!! Will stay here again if watching a show at Monte, 10 mins from Monte Casino, easy to find. Private and Secure. Continental breakfast left in the apartment to have on private patio at your own convenience. Charmaine is welcoming and puts all at ease. If i could give more stars i would. Will most definitely be back.
